Our 30-bed facility is both Medicare and Medicaid certified as well as Hospice affiliated. The fully carpeted Nursing Residence provides tastefully furnished bedrooms with individual climate control, cable television service, a spacious and elegantly appointed Dining Room, a Beauty and Barber Salon and a shower and therapeutic whirlpool bathing suite. An activity area, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, provides residents with ample space to participate in the events incorporated into our active social calendar, including religious observations, entertainment, group activities, etc. Our van provides residents with the opportunity to go on trips to the local attractions. We strive for optimal resident care by maintaining a close ratio of staff to residents, a strong sense of teamwork, and an experienced staff dedicated to providing personalized care in both sub-acute and long term care settings. At just 30 beds, our Skilled Nursing Residence is both small and intimate. We get to know each patient very well and take care of them as we ourselves would want to be taken care of. Like our assisted living community, the Skilled Nursing Residence at Job Haines is beautifully furnished and has its own landscaped courtyard. A wide range of activities is provided, including entertainment, religious services and group activities. In addition to skilled nursing, Job Haines offers on-site rehabilitation, including physical, occupational and speech therapy. |
nursing care on a short-term basis is housed within our Skilled Nursing Residence. The Sub-acute, or short stay program, is designed for individuals who are recovering from an injury, stroke or surgery, or are undergoing physical rehabilitation. Individuals can reside at Job Haines during their convalescence and recovery, then return home or into assisted living when they are able. The skilled staff can provide wound care and other specialized services such as IVs, physical, occupational and speech therapy.
For those residents in need of more long-term nursing care, the Skilled Nursing Residence provides highly skilled care while preserving their dignity, independence and individuality within a specialized facility.
